I'm Ba-a-a-ck!!

Well if you're still with me I want to apologize for the unintentional hiatus that I took over the weekend. It seems that the "perfect storm" of events took place this weekend and kept the blog from carrying forward.

There were several reasons for this happening.

First, I just got tired of my computer anti-virus just working half-way, and my mal-ware scanners just working half-way. So I decided I would devote my time to solving it. This meant running scans until they froze and determining what caused them to freeze or hang. Then I had to either isolate, solve, or remove the problem file, agent, Trojan. etc. as the case may have been. Long story short, this involved countless scans that ran into two days and various procedures to correct them but it was successful and all scans run beautifully and now they report a clean machine.

Second, school days are approaching. that meant we had to look for school supplies for our grandson Jace. That's not any fun when everyone else is doing the same thing and it's 105 degrees outside, the truck is hot and then you go into the stores and they're hot also. Add to that, we could not find all the supplies at one place. AAARGH!!

Third and final reason, I was just plain tired. Messing with the computer and hunting for school supplies will just do it to you!

As if that were not enough, About the time I finally finished fixing the computer Sunday night, a freak summer thunderstorm moved into the area. Along with it there was a lot of lightning and strong gusty winds. Apparently, the winds blew a limb or something across the lines and we lost our cable, phones, and Internet. I couldn't' log on to post so I went to bed.
