The World At My Fingertips

Chris gave me the gift of a lifetime yesterday. She gave me the world. Now, I literally have the world at my fingertips.

For some time I have been looking at the small globes that are made of decorative inlaid stone. I'm sure you have seen them in the stores before. They appear to have been made with a variety of stones, brass, porcelain, and Mother of Pearl. I like this particular globe because the oceans are represented by what appears to be a dark blue porcelain like material. She told me she bought this one because she knew that I liked the color blue. It appears that she has read my blog "It's A Blue Day But I'm Not Blue". I think it's great. I love it.

The best part---she bought it on the cheap at Goodwill. You know what else? Goodwill's logo colors are blue and white. What could be better than that?
