Picture Monday, December 15, 2008

We have a potpourri of pictures for Picture Monday on this fine and wonderful day in hopes of catching you up on a few events that have taken place since the last far away post.

Above and below: Jeremy Wariner et al. They came back home to good ol' BU for Homecoming 2008; or as the Noble NoZe Brotherhood lovingly refer to it, Come Homing.

Below we have a few representatives of the Noble NoZe Brothers and the equally noble, Poppa Rollo's Pizza firetruck carrying a few more said NoZe Brothers.

Below is a Big Bear in the air. Unfortunately Baylor lost their Homecoming game with Missiouri.

The Aggie Corp of Cadets prepare to march during the half time extravaganza of the BU vs. TAMU game.

The scoreboard of the BU vs. TAMU game. Looks like Baylor won this one.

Hey, that must be an outstanding teacher reading to the crowd at Barnes & Noble in Waco. Well, not quite a crowd. More like 5 kids, one of which is my grandson. That must be him next to me.

Today I am highlighting some pictures from Chris's side of the family. Yesterday was Chris's Aunt June's birthday so I decided that this would be a great time to post some of her family pictures. Aunt June is Chris's father's sister. She currently lives in Moberly, Missouri. So get ready. Here we go!

The picture below is a picture of the old home place in Nevada, Missouri. It looks like it was a crisp winter morning when this was taken.

Below we have a picture of Tom Brannaman. He was Chris's father's grandfather. The next picture is Tom Brannaman's wife. Let's see, that makes her Chris's father's grandmother. Gee it's sure hard to keep family relationships straight.

I love this picture! This is a picture of Aunt June in a goat cart. Look at her hair. She was a cutey in 1926.

This is Aunt Maude. This is Aunt June's aunt. Chris says that is her dad, Henry on her lap.

Aunt June stands with her brother Henry, Chris's dad.

The picture below is Aunt June and her husband, Uncle Doyle. Aunt June is holding Chris's cousin, Gary; and her other cousin, Virginia is standing. She must be holding a favorite doll.

The picture above is not really from Easter. We took the picture of Scott on vacation in the Ozarks in 1987. I think we were at a miniature golf course in Branson, MO. Humpty Dumpty gives it a vague Easter Egg theme.

Easter 1988. Scott is holding a couple of stuffed animals he got and Julie is reveling in the warm sun in the front yard. She might have an egg or two in her lap.

What's cuter than brother and sister on Easter morning? Here they are in 1989 ready to go to church.

Fast forward to 2008. This is Jace showing off some of his loot from Easter morning.

More loot from yesterday morning. And to think they left them at our house in the refrigerator. I guess I can have them for later.
