Things that occur in my world; or maybe just in my mind, that may or may not be of interest to you. Sometimes these thoughts revolve around my perception of the world; sometimes not. I just try to have fun and enjoy my time. Welcome to my world as I perceive it. An added plus is that I will share my Notgeld Collection occasionally.

There were several reasons for this happening.
First, I just got tired of my computer anti-virus just working half-way, and my mal-ware scanners just working half-way. So I decided I would devote my time to solving it. This meant running scans until they froze and determining what caused them to freeze or hang. Then I had to either isolate, solve, or remove the problem file, agent, Trojan. etc. as the case may have been. Long story short, this involved countless scans that ran into two days and various procedures to correct them but it was successful and all scans run beautifully and now they report a clean machine.
Second, school days are approaching. that meant we had to look for school supplies for our grandson Jace. That's not any fun when everyone else is doing the same thing and it's 105 degrees outside, the truck is hot and then you go into the stores and they're hot also. Add to that, we could not find all the supplies at one place. AAARGH!!
Third and final reason, I was just plain tired. Messing with the computer and hunting for school supplies will just do it to you!
As if that were not enough, About the time I finally finished fixing the computer Sunday night, a freak summer thunderstorm moved into the area. Along with it there was a lot of lightning and strong gusty winds. Apparently, the winds blew a limb or something across the lines and we lost our cable, phones, and Internet. I couldn't' log on to post so I went to bed.
Once again, thanks for hanging in and we're back on line for ya.
The first picture is the cover of the album. I included this so that you could get a feel for this album which is probably close to 80 years old as are most of the pictures inside. Cool huh?
Now I don't know who most of the people in the pictures are except occasionally I can pick out my grandfather and grandmother. For this reason I will simply show the pictures and keep the comments to a minimum.

I can remember a lot of things that my brother helped me with since he is my big brother. He always helped me clean up our bedroom. When he cleaned he put away all of his things and put everything else on my bed. Thanks for the help Lance.
I admired him a lot also. I always liked doing things with him. I remember the time that he and his friend Don decided to go down the "creek" to where the interstate highway was being built. They told me not to follow or go with them. I didn't listen. I followed and always stayed a healthy distance away in case I had to run away quickly. I had a lot of fun that day. My big prize was a gigantic lump of clay that was dug up at the construction site.
My brother also taught me how to take apart Black Cat Firecrackers and repacking it to make a small explosive. We did this a lot and had a lot of fun doing it. The neighbors didn't like it though.
I had a lot of fun with my brother when we were younger. I think he had a lot of fun too. Mainly because I would believe anything he said. After all he was my big brother. I remember the time that he told me about the part of the stove top where the pilot lights were. He said that even though there was small flames under there, it still wasn't hot. He said it was safe to touch. I believed him. I shouldn't have that time.
Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANCE!
PS, Could you please send me your e-mail addresses? I lost them all when I replaced the hard drive a while back.

My, my, my. Look at him now. Well, not really now, but then. You know; when this picture was taken about 9th or 10th grade.
