Garden Update

Took a few shots of the flowers in my garden yesterday. The Gazania and Scabiosa (Butterfly Blue) are really beginning to look good. We have had an Iris bloom for the first time since I transplanted them. I do not have a picture yet but I checked the Hollyhocks and the are getting ready to bloom. I planted them last year and they take 2 years to bloom. The Snapdragons from last year have about run their course. Fortunately I have planted new ones this spring. The Echinacea is getting a good start and the Carnations are beginning to bloom for the spring. I also have some Chrysanthemums beginning to bloom for the spring also.

PS--The corn is starting to grow. Yippee!

Saturday was a beautiful day here in the great Heart of Texas. I was able to get the new truck tail light installed on the truck. Allen Samuels Chevrolet never called to let me know if the light arrived. I drove over yesterday morning just to check. They told me it was one and since they never called they would get it in right away. Super. It looks great. Afterwards, I went to Genie Car Wash and had the truck washed. It needed it.

I bought some echinacea for the garden yesterday. This afternoon I got out and planted them. I also started rearranging some of the plants in the garden. I plan on getting some aliums and planting near the echinacea. I still need to trim and cut back several of the plants in the garden in order to get it ready for spring.

I will post pictures as I get closer to completion.
