(May 29, 2003) -- Photographed from a UH-3 “Sea King” helicopter assigned to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Search and Rescue team, the famous Seattle, Space Needle built for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, stands 620 feet tall with revolving restaurants and a 360 degree observation deck, providing a fabulous view of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges and, of course, the beautiful city of Seattle.
